Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) is a tropical tree native to Southeast Asia, where its leaves have been traditionally used for their stimulating and pain-relieving properties. In lower doses, kratom is known to enhance focus, energy, and mental clarity, while higher doses are often associated with relaxation and relief from discomfort. Eighty-two participants tracked their experiences before, during, and after using the product, with assessments taken at enrollment, after seven days without it, after 14 days of use, and after 21 days of use. The results provide insights into how this natural formula may influence cognitive function, focus and physical energy over time. The results suggest that many participants experienced noticeable improvements in their ability to think clearly, stay focused, and maintain energy throughout the day.
Doses of the product varied, but most participants chose to take the recommended dose from the manufacturers’ of ½ of a bottle or 20 mg of product. During the statistical analysis, dose, gender, and weight were not significant (p-value > .05). This is a positive finding, as it suggests that the product is equally effective regardless of the dosage administered, the gender of the individual, or their body weight.
Clearer Thinking, Less Mind Drift and Sharper Focus
One key finding was a significant reduction in problems with thinking clearly. On a scale from 1 (“Never”) to 5 (“Always”), participants started with an average score of 2.52 before using the product. Over time, their score improved by 0.58 points, reflecting a 22.97% decrease in difficulty thinking clearly.
Another area of improvement was in the ability to stay focused on a single task. Participants initially rated their task focus at 2.64 on a scale from 1 ("Very difficult") to 5 ("Very easy"). By the end of the study, this improved to 3.38, reflecting a 27.71% increase in task-focused attention.
While gender and body weight did not impact the product’s effectiveness, the study found that dose played a crucial role. Participants who consumed 20mg reported greater improvements in focus over time, whereas those taking less than 20mg saw a decline. This suggests that an optimal dose may be necessary for the best cognitive benefits.
Mind drift, or the tendency for thoughts to wander, also significantly improved. Before using the product, participants rated their mind drift at 2.89 on a scale from 1 ("Never") to 5 ("Always"), with lower scores being better. By the end of the study, this number dropped to 2.25, indicating a 22.29% reduction in mind wandering.
Similar to task focus, the study found that dose played a key role in determining effectiveness. Participants who took less than 20mg reported an increase in mind drift, while those who took 20mg saw a decline, reinforcing the importance of proper dosing for optimal cognitive benefits.
Similarly, the ability to focus and solve problems improved. Initially, participants rated their ease of focus at 2.75 (on a scale from 1, “Very Difficult,” to 5, “Very Easy”). By the end of the study, this increased to 3.34, showing a 21.44% improvement in focus and problem-solving ability.
Increased Energy Levels
